I just love this boy! This is Hunter. The genetics behind this guy are stellar! We expect Hunter to pass along high, tight, rear udders, near perfect fore udders, greater teat size and length, and awesome general appearance. His dam, the late great MCH Green Gate Lil' Red Riding Hood *D E was the most consistant doe in the PromisedLand herd, reproducing herself or better, over and over. When you're as nice as Red, that's a good thing. His sire, the late MCH Caesar's Villa CBS Cowpoke *S E is out of consistantly great animals as well. Hunter is having no trouble showing his stuff in the show ring himself! 5 time Junior Champion, he's won RGCH over the big boys twice now in his short career. No small feat if you ask me! This year, in his first show, he went Grand in the Senior Buck class as a yearling, under judge Dave Dubert. Hunter's first babies are on the ground! They are fabulous! Just as we'd hoped! In our most recent show, in a huge class of junior does, 4 of the top 5 were Hunter's daughters! Update; Our AGS National Junior Get of Sire win was made up of 3 of Hunter's daughters. Ima Keeper, Hidden Treasure, and Nightingale easily took the class with their femininity, consistency of type, and gracefulness! :)

Same breeding as Top Gun above. We lost old man Luck of the Draw so will retain as much of him as possible for ourselves. We feel very lucky to have this young man with us! Hope these young men do the job we're expecting. Because he was ready to roll long before Top Gun, Derringer has seen quite a bit more use here on our farm. We have quite a few more of his daughters retained as well. That's okay, we like him too. Our Get of Sire group which consisted of Blonde Bombshell, Kitten Kabootle, and Hocus Pocus snatched the blue ribbon at the State Fair of Oklahoma quite handily both days shown.We're thrilled about that! Derringer now has three daughters with LA scores of VEEE 90! I cannot tell you how proud that makes me!

Please allow me to introduce to you Genuine Article...or as I call him, Arthur. Arthur is out of perhaps the best doe I have bred up to this point. Brand New Girlfriend has done pretty much everything a breeder could possibly hope for...she was killed by dogs at 4 years old...so died far too young and too horribly to speak of. General appearance, correct mammary system, and just plain gorgeous were her strengths! Arthur is sired by Bonafide, who's dam had high capacity and a pretty much did everything a doe could do in this breed as well. I sold Arthur as a young kid but had the good fortune for the opportunity to purchase him back this summer. I'm pleased to have him home and as you'll notice, I've used him heavily this fall in hopes of adding the tremendous general appearance of his dam along with the higher milk production of his grandam to our already nice herd.

This photo was taken on 4/10/01 when he was 3 years old. Lucky is getting on in years but still has a lot to offer our herd as well as the Nigerian Dwarf breed in general. His daughters are the most stylish, most correct does in our herd. We're hoping to get a few more before Lucky is no longer breeding. He has his own private quarters with a geriatric doe for company, so he's no longer competing with other bucks. Hopefully it will help to keep him young! Keith Harrell has this to say about our guy, "You can see his high sharp withers, natural *uphill* stance, strong topline, excellent rump, good body capacity, strong & smooth front end assembly, and a near perfect rear leg set. Lucky's dam is one of the most impressive Nigerian Dwarves in the breed. She excels in general appearance and has an absolutely magnificent udder.... and, more importantly, she seems to pass these traits along to her kids. Lucky's full sisters, MCH PGCH Twin Creeks Midsumernitedream 2*D (E) and MCH Twin Creeks LS Pixie Fern are proof of that. Go to Twin Creeks Farm and look at the Twink's Pixie Progeny Page and you'll see what I mean. Lucky himself seems to pass these traits along to his offspring too. His kids have shown well, winning Best Udder awards, GCHs and Reserves under several herd names. He has produced at least 2 Junior Get of Sire winning groups. His daughters here at PromisedLand are consistently long bodied, with excellent width, and exceptional top lines and rumps." That just about sums it up. This guy has a lot left to do. We're happy to have him here with us!

Sadly we lost our old man in July, 2005. Lucky has made a huge impact and contribution to the Nigerian Dwarf breed. We are thankful to have had him for his last season. He's sorely missed around here!

We're very excited to bring this guy's genetic background to our breeding program. Having been a long time admirer of his bloodlines, we were fortunate enough to aquire a bit for ourselves. His dam is one of the most beautiful Nigerians I've ever seen with a beautiful mammary system to match. In 2007, Tunes earned 6 Best of Breed and 4 Best Udder awards. She has an LA score of EEEE 91 and a Classification score of 92.1. His sire's dam; Penny Pincher won 4 Grand Champion titles as well as a Best Udder of Breed award. She LA VEEE with a final score of 90. What I don't like about him...he toes out, just like his dam. But, we don't milk the toes, so I'm anxious to see how these lines cross with our's. Exciting days are ahead!

This is Aristo-Cat. I LOVE this little buck!!! As I watch this little guy mature I'm seeing another Luck of the Draw. Except for color he is almost a carbon copy. Now that doesn't hurt my feelings in the least. With the genetics that back up this little man....let's just say we're very excited about him. If he can add the elegance, general appearance and the mammary systems (or maybe better) of his grand sire, this guy will have a lot of work ahead of him here at Dill's-A Little Goat Farm. A nice new addition to Dill's. I found Fire cooling his heels on a farm in Missouri, and I'm soooo glad I did! Line bred on ARMCH Caesar's Villa CBS Stetson ++*S, perhaps one of the most if not the most influential buck in the Nigerian Dwarf breed today. I've worked extensively with my Cowpoke sons, and now this guy will give me a chance to cover those granddaughters with a similar bloodline. Not only that, but he has not one, but TWO National Champion Senior Does in his immediate pedigree. How cool is that? Just look at Bridget's rear udder! Boy....I'm getting excited just thinking about it! Thanks Tess and Kizzie for letting this guy come to my farm. I'm really really pleased!
